At BIWAKO, every pearl meets the same strict standards we’ve perfected in the auction world. Years of experience in auctions have taught us exactly what it takes to spot the best. We bring that same precision to every pearl we choose.
Our founder, Mr. Nishimura, invests directly in pearl farms that supply us with some of the world’s finest seawater pearls. Before every auction, we hand-sort through hundreds of thousands of pearls—checking each one by hand to make sure it meets our standards. We select only 1 in 1,000 pearls. Because for us, good enough is never enough.
As a jeweler offering fewer than one in a thousand of the highest-grade pearls, we inspect every pearl by hand and perfect every detail of design and craftsmanship. We believe you should fall in love at first sight. For us, that’s simply the way it should be.
